I like that she listens to me and it feels like she really understands me and she is very thorough. She did a long initial evaluation to get a good grasp before trying to introduce medication. She wanted to truly understand me so she could properly diagnose me and medicate me. I’ve seen other providers that take 15 minutes and tell you that you have something without taking the time to evaluate you. I like that I am in control with what medication I take and how much she listens and lets you listen to your body so you can ultimately decide yourself while she steers you towards the right direction. She is quick with refills and has great communication skills.

Jessica has been a great hep to me as I begin my journey towards learning to live with my ADHD. She makes a genuine effort to get to know me, even beyond just my diagnosis and treatment. Her professional integrity has been inspiring as well, and she is free of judgement and openly hears me out and the issues I bring to the table. She is also very responsive to messages sent between sessions and the questions I have then!

Dr. Green Burns is a phenomenal physician whose compassion, expertise, and dedication is unmatched by others in the health care industry. She’s knowledgeable without being condescending when examining possible treatment options with her patients and doesn’t push anything that her patients are not comfortable with. She provides you with all of the information along with her professional opinion, but ultimately leaves the decision of what type of treatment up to her patients. My personal experience with Dr. Green Burns has improve my health and quality of life significantly. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for improvement in their health and wellbeing.

When I was first introduced to Dr. Jess, her uplifting "welcome" made me feel exactly that way. Her positivity is contagious and that was the sort of energy I needed in my life at the time. The enthusiasm she displayed in wanting to help me resolve my struggles was ins inspirational. In fact, her reassurance and optimistic outlook on my diagnosis' was a key factor in being consistent with my medication and keeping my scheduled appointments. Equally as important and impressive is her extensive knowledge in both Neuroscience and Pharmacology. She has been gifted with the ability to bridge the two fields seamlessly into a treatment plan that she and both felt comfortable exploring together. When I reflect on the place I was stuck in when I met her two years ago I can hardly believe how much growth I've achieved, and that growth was nurtured by Dr. Jess. She will never give up on you, nor will she allow you to give up on yourself! (She is also Hysterical)

Jess was great. She never let me leave her appointments with questions or concerns. She could make me smile and laugh even if I came in crying. We would talk about her in the lobby when she worked at the community health center I went to in Rhode Island. The staff would always ask, "what is it about her you all love so much". One guy said it best, "you can tell she cares." He was right. Even when she was disappointed because I gave up on a plan we came up with, I knew in my heart it was because she cared. One time I could hear her cheering for her patient that had graduated from college. That girl came out of that appointment smiling like she had won the lottery just because Jess was proud of her. We all felt that way. She was invested. She let us make our own decisions. She was one of a kind and I am so glad I found her here! Once you have a prescriber like her, you don't want anyone else.
