Since 1991, Head & Neck Surgery of Kansas City has provided expert care for ear, nose, and throat conditions across the Greater Kansas City area. What began as a single practice has grown into a collaborative team of board-certified ENT physicians, board-certified physician assistants, audiologists, and dedicated staff — now serving patients at three convenient locations in Overland Park, South Overland Park, and Grandview.

I have been struggling with severe episodes of vertigo, tinnitus, in addition to my already diagnosed migraines. I had been waiting for over 6 months to get in touch with an ENT clinic before I finally decided to book with Caroline. She listened to my concerns and addressed each one with knowledge and understanding.

Good overall experience but a few tweaks would help. When signing up online it wouldn't let me request a hearing test AND a ear cleaning. We tried calling to clarify but it was a challenge getting in touch with a busy office. Once there they had to enter my insurance info which I had already provided online. They said the systems don't transfer info completely. Now I guess that 3rd pty software has my info too and who knows where it goes from there. But that's not too uncommon. Other than that the staff did a great job going through the hearing test and cleaning and follow up process. Thanks.

She provided outstanding care. I had several things going on, and she reached a diagnosis for each set of symptoms. Her plan for my recovery has been effective. She is personable, knowledgeable, and loves her profession. Highly recommend!

I arrived very early as I didn’t know how long it would take to. drive due to construction. I was welcomed right away and started paperwork. After paperwork completed I didn’t wait more than 5 minutes before nurse called me back to room. Dr Challis came in very shortly. He took his time and explained everything he was doing and also explained tests he suggested for me. This was done after exam. Dr Challis was friendly and made sure I didn’t have any other questions. Whole appointment was very smooth and friendly. Would highly recommend Dr Challis and his office.

I was feeling pretty hopeless and upset, dealing with some extreme nausea and fatigue for almost a year. I had been to different specialists, endoscopy, lots of rounds of various treatments.
I just wasn’t getting any better.
Dr. Challis listened carefully to me. He was patient and kind. He figured out what was wrong with me and was able to treat me for the cause of the illnese. I am very happy… and relieved! I have hope I will feel good again.

I loved that I didn’t need a referral to be seen for my ear issues. I knew my ears were having problems so it was great to be able to be seen by an ENT quickly. The doctor checked my nose for sinus issues. I also had a hearing test conducted on the spot. It was amazing and I was told what was going on and prescribed meds! So grateful and it was so easy!
