Recently, I went through a breakup that was abrupt and tumultuous. These circumstances left me feeling incredibly anxious, depressed, confused, and betrayed. I was left with unanswered questions and unresolved feelings that wee consuming me everyday. Physically, I felt sick and emotionally, I felt lost by succumbing to numbness in order to avoid all of the pain. It was when I had my first session with Dr. Eff that I started to breathe again. He made me feel safe, comfortable, supported, and most importantly - seen. Throughout the last few months, he has provided me a warm, nurturing, and collaborative space to process my breakup. However, he has also introduced me to concrete skills that have allowed me to get through my days without so much emotional pain and physical fatigue. He has been a crucial part of my healing journey, and I highly recommend him if you are struggling. I’ve been in therapy for most of my life due to anxiety, depression, OCD, social anxiety, and others. I recently began seeing Dr. Eff and I must say, the results have been incredible. In a few short weeks, (about 5 now I think.) I’ve already made huge progress and am feeling more optimistic about my future and have had much success working towards and achieving goals we make in our sessions as well as some I set for myself.
