High Desert Mental Health & Wellness, PLLC
High Desert Mental Health & Wellness is a predominantly virtual Psychiatric Mental Health service located in Utah.
Self-scheduled appointments with an experienced MH Nurse Practitioner are available through the ZocDoc online scheduling tool . Once you book your 1st appointment, ZocDoc will send you a packet of essential documents to fill out prior to attending your appointment. ZocDoc will also email/text appointment & paperwork completion reminders.
High Desert Mental Health & Wellness accepts most Utah-based insurances, and welcomes self-pay patients from additional states where the provider is licensed. Copays, where applicable, are expected at the time of service, and can be conveniently submitted through a unique Patient Portal account, where all standard forms of remote/online payment are accepted.
Important: Prior to scheduling an appointment
1) Please verify that the provider is in-network with your insurance plan or
2) Plan to pay for MH services in full at the time of your appointment.
3) Self-pay and out-of-network patients, where permitted by the insurance payor, may submit an invoice to their insurance company for direct/partial reimbursement for the out-of-network services provided.
4) Once ready, please book your appointment through the yellow "Book Online" button found at ZocDoc and/or on the High Desert Mental Health & Wellness practice website
5) As a consideration to others, please only schedule a new patient appointment after you have followed the above steps, and are fully prepared to keep the scheduled appointment. There is a charge for appointments cancelled with a less than 24 hour notice.
6) New patients can expect a 60-90" initial intake appointment, and 30-60" follow up appointments.
7) Please complete your intake and/or follow-up screenings prior to attending your appointment to ensure the best quality/use of your meeting time with your provider.
After you have booked an initial appointment with High Desert Mental Health & Wellness (or provided your DOB), your provider will send you an invitation to create your own Patient Portal account, through which you will be able to message privately with your provider, safely access your online health information, retrieve an invoice to send to your insurance provider for out-of-network services, and conveniently pay for any patient portion of the cost for your ongoing MH care.
