At High Point Dentistry, your local Elgin dentist, we aim to provide the best quality care for our patients by ensuring that our staff is up to date with modern technologies and procedures. I came into this appointment feeling very nervous, especially after finding out I would need a root canal. From the moment I walked in, though, the staff made me feel calm and cared for. Everyone was patient, kind, and took the time to explain each step so that I knew exactly what to expect. The dentist was gentle and incredibly skilled, which made the whole process so much easier than I had feared. What I thought would be a stressful and overwhelming experience turned out to be surprisingly comfortable and reassuring. I left feeling relieved, grateful, and confident about coming back for future care.

I left crying the office because I tried asking about prices before X-rays and on another occasion just to be told a vague answer implying that something else would cover the cost just to be thrown a high number (to me) because I couldn’t afford what they were asking. They lowered the transaction after making them aware of me trying to ask about price ahead of time but it left me in such high distress, I wish they would’ve been straight forward with me from the start when I said I didn’t have insurance and when I was trying to be up front about how much the visit would cost beforehand.
