When I arrived to the office there were a couple of people in wheelchairs in the middle of the waiting room. Someone was going over personal medical information with them where everyone could hear and see. I maneuver my way to the front desk and, as I approached it, the admin who was standing there walked away. When she returned she still acted as though she did not see me. I introduced myself and asked where I could check in for my appt and the admin muttered ”Oh god” under her breath. She then asked my name and looked through her computer. Then she riffled through some papers and reiterated my name – Florence? I corrected her and she looked again. She apologized after a couple of minutes and said “I don’t have an appointment for you.” I said I had scheduled through ZocDoc and she said they didn’t have access to it. She called?across the room unsure what to do next. Her teammate said “You just have to trust that they’re telling the truth about the appointment.” It got worse from there

I waited 45 minutes to be seen with no explanation and no apologies. The assistant that did my eye exam was great and thorough. I say Dr Coco for about 5 minutes. He had no idea why I was there, had not looked at my file, did not shake my hand and barely made eye contact. Again, did not apologize for being late. Looked at the computer screen most of the visit. Was not engaging in any way. I will not return to this office or doctor.

Dr. Coco’s office said they have nothing to do with Zocdoc. How I got to Zocdoc to make an appointment for a doc who is not in their system, I do not know. I do know that calling their number on their site only gets you Optics, not their office. Since I have vision difficulties, I was annoyed by the many texts from Zocdoc about the appointment so I finally called Optics, asked ti be transferred and talked to a lady who said ti cancel the appointment, I would have to go through Zocdoc, not them, as they have no association with you! I never saw the doc and hope to God I never get on your site again and never get another text from you. You ruined my day and I still haven’t seen an ophthalmologist!!

Very friendly, thorough. My prescription had barely changed in 3 years and he said so. No need for new glasses until I feel like current are strained. Currently reading 20/20 with current prescription (he said). Did not push new glasses at all - liked that they do not sell frames and prescriptions at this office.

The doctor had a very flat affect. Didn’t really explain what was going on just used a big word and said to come back in 2weeks and if things hadn’t improved he would laser my eye. What in the world?!?!? My eyes were Dialated and it was snowing outside and I wasn’t given sunglasses to go over my glasses so I could drive home like I was told I would get. My eyes watered and I could hardly see to drive because it was so bright. The receptionist was very gruff, abrasive. I felt like an inconvenience. I’m canceling my follow up and going to a doctor a friend recommended after I told her about my experience.

Being new to Colorado and needing a new eye doctor, I am glad that I found Dr. Coco. Once seen, the process was quick and efficient and helpful in seeing how my eyes are doing. It had been a few years since I had an eye exam. Very professional and non-stressful office environment. And having done the scheduling with Zocdoc I just needed to check in when I got there and checkout when it was done. I think I will get my glasses somewhere else or online though, but it was good to have an updated eye exam.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Coco - I went in for a medical eye condition. I thought Dr. Coco was professional and very nice. He listened carefully to my symptoms and I felt confident that he would be able to help me feel better. I would definitely return to this office.

I found the doctor indifferent. My case requires a specialist so I’ve no other options.
He also never directly asked me if I wanted to think about his surgery, this was a second opinion after all. He just tapped his computer and started the process for a surgery he clearly saw as boring and bothersome.

After I booked the appointment through ZocDoc I was told I had to pre-fill out the paperwork before they would accept me. Stuff like name, employer, etc. I completed all of it, but when I arrived I had to fill it ALL out again on a paper sheets. Even though I had an appointment I had to wait for 30 minutes to be even get to other waiting room where I waited another 15 minutes. The nurse didn't even sanitize her hands or wear gloves before touching my eyes and face. Great way to spread stuff between patients...
When the doctor arrived he asked me what I was in for, even though I told his staff and it was in my paperwork. I explained that I've had an new issues the last year and a half that I have never had before. He gave me a memorized spiel about what to do about it (that any website on the planet will say the same thing) and that I was pre-disposed to it and there wasn't anything you can do about it. Welp, that was a big waste of time. Could have just Googled it...

My impression of this office as a whole is below average. There is a rushed and stressed vibe, over booked, and Physician appears to be more concerned about getting through his patient load rather than gaining a true connection with his office staff and patients.
I witnessed a missed opportunity by the physician to seal a connection with an elderly patient by ignoring her ‘goodbye’ and smile because he was too busy rushing past her to get irritated with receptionist about scanning docs.
And a diff receptionist who after hanging up with a patient, stated out loud, “I don’t know, leave me alone.”
I was told by the dr i have beginning stages of cataracts and there was nothing that could be done. He said no surgery to help when it got worse. I felt rushed with my questions and almost in tears when i left, only to research on my own that there indeed is surgery. He whispers in room which is hard to hear.
My favorite people are the MA and receptionist on left who are kind to everyone.
