Maintaining our mental health requires a holistic approach. One that includes taking care of not only our mind but our body as a whole. That is why I treat my clients using a combination of talk therapy, body-based methods, mindfulness and naturopathic guidance. When healing trauma, simply putting things into words is not sufficient and could in fact be triggering. For this reason, I employ a Somatic Experiencing method to help clients safely access and work through their emotions and traumas stored in their muscle memory, which promotes healing of a wide range of conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and childhood abuse. I also use Art Therapy to help clients access parts of themselves that cannot be easily described with verbal language. Art Therapy in combination with body-based methods also serves well in treatment of creative blocks among artists and other people working in various creative fields. Medication, while often necessary, does not have to be the first step in improving your mental health. I am a certified Integrative Mental Health professional who can help you achieve greater emotional well-being through guidance in nutrition, life-style choices, herbalism and natural supplements. I integrate mindfulness, meditation and energy work into my sessions to give my clients both a sense of immediate relief and tools to deal with their overwhelming feelings between our sessions. Finally, all of us have inner conflicts caused by a complex interaction of tendencies, experiences and traits within us. I utilize an Internal Family Systems method to access my clients on a deeper level and resolve those inner conflicts. This leads to clients experiencing relief from anxiety and lessening of depressive symptoms.

I have been working with Elizaveta for over three years now, and I can't implore enough the safety and guidance she provides in her sessions. Her ability to hold space for any thought or feeling, and her curiosity into inviting you into understanding yourself better, is nothing short of life changing. Though we predominately use CBT in our sessions, I've been blown away with the way that art making, meditation, and somatic experiencing have been folded into our practice; so many revelations and moments of self understanding have come through artistic prompts and creation that Elizaveta has guided. I appreciate the many forms of care she is able to provide, and thinking about mental health more holistically, has also been something I've taken from working with Elizaveta. She is patient, caring, and very thoughtful therapist who meets you wherever you are. Her warmth is felt even on a zoom screen, which I think speaks volumes of her abilities!
