Horizon Counseling is a woman-owned therapy practice founded to expand access to high-quality, compassionate mental health care in Middle Tennessee. As the sister practice of Tennessee Mental Wellness—a thriving private-pay therapy group—Horizon Counseling was created in direct response to the growing need for in-network care in our community.
After receiving countless requests from individuals and families seeking therapy that accepts insurance, our founder launched Horizon Counseling with the mission of making expert, trauma-informed, evidence-based care more accessible to those who need it most. While Horizon offers a more affordable, insurance-based option, it holds fast to the same core values that have defined Tennessee Mental Wellness: clinical excellence, community connection, and deep commitment to client well-being.
