While the waiting room is small, I was seen right away, same day. I wasn’t feeling my best after a traumatic experience a week prior and wanted some help navigating all these feelings I was having. Front desk staff was swift and very personable. Dr. Nikki was a great person to talk to and made this first experience for me very comfortable. I’ve decided to come back for a therapy session with the offices therapist and looking forward to it.

Although the staff was friendly, I was caught off guard when the doctor was laughing and making certain comments in regards to my weight and health. It was insensitive towards someone who struggles with their weight. I asked direct questions and wanted practical answers without the extra commentary or attempts at humor. For someone who studied psychiatry, this was not an effective or mindful form of communication. I felt uncomfortable and judged. They also use outdated measurements of data. I don't intend to go back again. I wish I had gone somewhere else.
