We are beginning our year-long “Ask The Doc” campaign in an effort to educate the public. Our doctors and nurses provide urgent care in Los Angeles and host a series of conferences, health fairs, and educational seminars to inform our patients of the risks AND opportunities to achieve optimum health. Our passion far exceeds the amount we collect from our patients and in fact, many of our services are free to the public because we believe in serving the people of California.

This is the most horrible office in LA. I had to wait two hours. The office is unbelievably filthy and disgusting.

I have only ever met Dr Akhavan once. I am often seen by doctors I have never met. It's a new doctor every time really. They don't know me; they just read my chart. On my last visit, the doctor pulled out her phone and started Googling my symptoms.

bottom of the barrel but took what i can on my insurance plan. never met the dr at any point had test done and called for weeks trying to have someone go over my results with me to no avail. huge waste of my time and have to find a new provider and do the tests all over again just shut this place down

I would leave a review for this doctor, but I never met or saw him. He wasn't in the office. His name appears everywhere on the forms I signed, but never spoke to a doctor. I had some personal things I wanted to discuss with a male doctor, but obviously that didn't happen because I saw some PA. .
I was there for a physical, so after waiting for an hour, blood and urine were taken. The clinic is also not the best kept even though I wasn't expecting much because of it's location. I think it is a chop shop set up for extra income from Medi-Cal patients. Make sure you check to make sure the appointment you make is with the provider. Waste of my time.
Note: Maybe the provider can call appointments and let them know the doctor will not be in the office. That way the patient can decide whether they care or not. I personally would have canceled and found another provider.

I didn’t see Dr. Akhavan when I went in for an annual check-up, but the front office staff, nurse, and PA I did see and interact with were all exceedingly friendly.

He was very kind and did try to listen my my case is too rare to be understood so it was uneventful. But, I could tell if you had a more regular/common condition he would be very helpful.
