I’m not sure why this provider is in the medical industry if she doesn’t care to help her patients. Both times that i coasted this provider she was very cold and her demeanor was unwelcoming. The second time i went was due to me having a bad experience with a different provider who hadn’t sent in my prescription for well over 2 weeks. Dr. Jarrett basically told me there was nothing she was willing to do for me bc she said she could not see my diagnosis in mychart…. but as i sat in the office when i opened mychart on my phone the diagnosis was literally right there located in MyChart (i tried to show her and she denied the opportunity to see it) along with my many other diagnosis that she subtlety tried to give me push back on as if all of my diagnosis’ weren’t 15+ years ago. So to lie to my face that the diagnosis wasn’t listed in my record is disgusting. and im considering filing a report with the medical review board.

I’d been specifically looking to build my care team this year with professionals that are highly knowledgeable, attentive, and with shared culture. Dr. Jarrett came highly recommended by one of my best friends who is a patient of hers. The location was convenient from my home and the facilities were clean. The staff was so warm and welcoming which added to my comfort. Dr. Jarrett was professional and attentive and exactly what I was looking for in a PCP. I will definitely be recommending her.

Dr. Johnson was just okay during my initial wellness visit while I was trying to establish primary care away from home while attending school in Texas. However, I was disappointed that after receiving abnormal lab results, there was no proactive follow-up from the office and I had to reach out myself for clarification.
My second issue involved requesting imaging for a documented prior ACL reconstruction that has become unstable again. Per advice from Houston Methodist and my orthopedic surgeon’s office in Chicago, I sent a detailed message requesting MRI imaging before returning home for specialist care. Instead, I was repeatedly told to schedule another in-person appointment, which felt redundant, unnecessarily inconvenient, and financially motivated given I was already coordinating care with an orthopedic specialist.
The communication from the assistant also came across as curt and dismissive. Overall, I left feeling unheard and undervalued as a patient.

Best PCP ever! Very knowledgeable and thorough. For example, my BP was high and she wouldn’t let me get out of checking it again to make sure no issues. Very relatable and I had no issues making this last minute appointment. I was seen on time. You’re lucky if you get her as your PCP!
