The office staff was very friendly and helpful; the visit was seamless- all I had to do was show up. Dr. Ashraf himself was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my complaints. He was extremely articulate on the various forms of treatment available to me and was above all, trustworthy. I would take my family members to see him and would recommend anyone else in need of an orthopedist to visit Dr. Ashraf as well.

He was my 2nd opinion dr after someone else told me my shoulder pain was normal and to keep working out. Dr. Ashraf instead sent me for a CT Scan and sent me to PT because I had bursitis and tendonitis. I am now healed!! And back to working out.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Ashraf after searching for a local orthopedist who would accept my insurance and see me quickly. The office conveniently imported my info from Zocdoc, so I only had a couple forms to sign when I arrived. The office seemed to be very busy with several patients, but they were organized. Unfortunately, I had to wait about an hour despite arriving early with an appointment; however, Dr. Ashraf acknowledged that and apologized as soon as I saw him. He listened to my concerns without rushing or interrupting and performed what seemed to be a basic exam of my injured area, still listening to my personal observations. He stated next steps that included some follow-up tests I'd have to get on my own, as well as prescription medication, but he did seem to be a bit rushed in explaining things at that point. He did give me the opportunity to ask questions as he was leaving the exam room.
Most of his staff was very friendly and professional. I'm just surprised they didn't provide any summary of the visit in writing, which is something I always get from my primary physician or any other specialist. Everything was just verbal. Further, the facilities they referred me for the diagnostic tests did not accept my insurance, but I'm not sure they would know that.
Overall, I would recommend Dr. Ashraf. The office is clean and modern. He is an active listener, and the staff is pleasant. His recommendation for a specific physical therapist is excellent. I have a follow-up with Dr. Ashraf coming up, and I hope that visit will also be a positive experience.

I was highly disappointed visiting Dr Ashraf following my consultation with him regarding recent knee pain. I am a CrossFit athlete and had visited him for pain in an area that had been previously injured in the past. My appointment was completely rushed and his bedside manner was atrocious essentially explaining that so long as I continued with my regular exercise in this way, I was going to have consistent and chronic knee pain. He offered no details / specific diagnosis / or guidance and advised as I expected to "stay off of it." With all of his sports medicine experience, I was expecting much more out of this doctor and have not / will not be visiting again. Unfortunate experience.

Care about which insurance the patient has on top of everything, no matter if the patient needs a surgery or not, even though the patient was willing to pay by himself. HORRIBLE !!!!

Today, I had my last follow-up appointment with Dr. Ashraf after he fixed my broken collarbone. Dr. Ashraf is nothing short of elite, who really cares about the outcome of his patients. I'd say I'm a fairly competitive athlete who has had a laundry list of injuries over the years (including 4 major knee surgeries) so I can say I have a little experience when it comes to picking trustworthy doctors. With that said if you are serious about putting in the work in PT and making a full recovery, Dr. Ashraf is your guy. He's the kind of doctor that is going to put in the best position possible to accomplish that as well as following you closely throughout the recovery process.

His manner was distant and he deemed preoccupied. He twice asked me for information I had just provided, such as where I live. He didn't volunteer advice on activities I should avoid or do to help my condition. I had to ask him about that on my way out.

After informing the staff about my lower back pain they sent me for X-Rays at a nearby hospital. Upon returning I saw the doctor who briefly glanced at the X-Ray of my lower back saying he only deals with one's extremities (arms and legs), and then dismissed me. Why the X-Rays and consult knowing initially that my back was the problem, and the doctor doesn't address that issue. They wasted my time and money and billed my health insurance carrier for unnecessary procedures.
