At Hudson River Gynecology, we provide the entire spectrum of gynecological and reproductive care, taking women from late adolescence through menopause and beyond…. from well woman preventative care and contraception through the scope of gynecologic disorders… from pregnancy planning and fertility to minimally invasive hysteroscopic surgery.
Unlike many large medical practices, we provide individualized attention and take pride in getting to know each and every patient personally in a caring, intimate setting. From the moment you meet the physician, you will be made to feel comfortable and at ease. We believe in educating patients and we encourage you to be an integral part of your own healthcare. A treatment plan will be discussed and jointly formulated between you and your provider, and it will be tailored uniquely to YOU.

I cannot recommend Dr Amy more highly! She is such a lovely human, an attentive listener, she follows-up and genuinely cares about her patients well-being. Her humor and calming energy puts her patients at ease and she doesn’t miss a detail. Everyone I have recommended to her over the years adores her. She diagnosed an autoimmune disease (unrelated to OBGYN) that so many specialists overlooked and literally saved my life ??

Dr. Bloomgarden is simply the best. I was referred to her 10+ years ago, and I am so grateful to have her on my medical team. She has always taken time to talk and explain everything as well as answer all of my questions. She is prompt with appointment times but never seems rushed or bothered by my granular questions. She also has great people she refers to (surgeons, urologists, etc.) which makes a big difference knowing they are already vetted. She is kind, warm, and most of all, great at her job. If you're looking for a new OB/gyn, I highly recommend her!
