I have 20 years of experience providing primary care internal medicine for some of the leading health systems in the country. I’ve learned what works well and what to avoid, and now I’m proud to share the opening of my own practice, Human Touch Health. I trained at top ranked programs including medical school (Duke #3), public health (UNC #2), and primary care internal medicine residency (Colorado # 8). While my credentials are strong, my greatest strengths are compassion, patience, humility, curiosity, and deep listening, which are qualities that you don't learn in school. I learned those from my grandma. I am passionate about preventing illness through healthy living, and managing chronic illness as gently as possible. My areas of expertise include healthy living (lifestyle medicine), medical and non-medical weight loss, management of sleep apnea, hypertension, heart disease and heart failure, asthma, COPD, diabetes, high blood pressure, fatigue, and chronic illness management .

Dr. Harker listens attentively and proactively to his patients, then he clearly discusses the issue and presents options for course of action to make a decision taking in account the patient's input. He is now our family Doctor, we all feel so comfortable and well-cared for during our appointments. It is difficult to find a kind and knowledgeable physician today. He also makes sure that the tests and medications he ordered are processed and completed when issues arise. He is a gem, they don't come like this anymore, feeling very lucky that we met him and he accepted us as his patients.

Great experience for a Doctors visit, Dr Harker was very personable and friendly, patient with my questions and I would highly recommend using him, I traveled an hour and a half from Cheyenne to see him and will be using him in the future as well, regardless of the travel time, worth it to me for the attention, patience, and overall good experience that came with a good plan to deal with the issues I came in with.

I had some trepidation having to switch to a new PCP because my physician of many years was retiring. After meeting with Dr Harker my mind was put at ease. He listened intently to my concerns. I made an appointment with Dr Harker and got in to see him within two days. He wasn’t the correct Dr for my condition, However, he was more than helpful, and recommended the proper specialist.
