I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I have extensive experience working in the mental health field, treating clients of all backgrounds. I have experience in working with clients who suffer from a range of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, behavioral disturbance, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorders, ADHD, and PTSD.
I utilize a holistic approach that is tailored to each client’s individual needs. In this regard, I do not use an algorithmic method, and consider everyones path to wellbeing a unique journey. I utilize evidence-based treatment, incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and lifestyle changes to optimize mental health.
Client’s can expect to leave every session understanding their diagnosis and treatment plan. I aim to create a warm, safe environment for clients to feel empowered to be active participants in their mental health care.

I can truly say this was the first time I was able to experience a stress free psychiatric appointment . Ilana was thorough, knowledgeable and extremely understanding of my complaints and diagnosis . She guided me through an appropriate treatment plan tailored to my concerns and I left my appointment feeling taken care of. Communication was stress free and simple. I have already recommend her to my family and friends and highly recommend if you need caring/attentive psychiatric care which is extremely difficult to find these days.
