I have never felt so off in a dental office until I came here. You’re first greeted with blaring music that only gets louder when you make your way into the back. This is so overstimulating for me, an adult. I can’t imagine it’d be helpful in calming an overstimulated child (which from the decor and the countless Peppa Pig plushies seen is primarily who this office sees). Once I make it to the chair and my consultation “ends”, I am greeted with an office worker requesting payment right then as I sit in the chair. In my numerous visits to dentist offices, I have never had this happen. This immediately discouraged me from returning. This is such bad practice. You have now caused your patient to feel as if the care they are about to receive is quick and lacks care. Which is what I felt. I understand that healthcare in America is a transactional service, but this does not have to be felt. I’ve never felt this way in a healthcare setting. I’d suggest you all go back to the drawing board.
