Dr. Ramsha Tanwir is a board certified podiatrist and extensively trained in surgical and non-surgical management in foot and ankle pathology. She works to curate a treatment regimen to help maintain healthy and active feet. Dr. Tanwir specializes in sports medicine, tendonitis, fractures, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, nerve pain, wound care, ingrown toenails, warts and much more. With a patient-centric approach, we work to build treatment plans to fit your lifestyle and health goals.
Dr. Tanwir received her doctorate in podiatric medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl at Rosalind Franklin University and completed her surgical training at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. She is dedicated to her patients and works to develop an individualized treatment plan. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, painting and spending time with her friends and family.

The office was easy to find and the receptionist was polite and professional. I was a new patient and had to fill out the paperwork but was brought back to see the doctor right away. Super quick appointment but they answered my questions and provided me with footwear options and stretches. They did not push me into purchasing expensive items. They were professional and gave me the best quality of care and service.

Dr. Ramsha Tanwir is sweet, kind and knowledgeable! I have been her patient for some time, now. She is gentle when removing calluses and doesn’t hurt you. I tried another doctor, but came back to Dr. Tanwir for my next shaving even though her office is further away. I am happy with her kindness and gentleness. ??

Doc was good! took care of my ingrown toe nail quickly. We caught it early, so she was able to get the part of the nail out without having to use a numbing shot.

She is absolutely amazing! She helped me solve some issues I was having with painful callous and even made me a follow up appointment to check on it in case more pain started develop. She even gave me a pair of inserts that worked best for my work setting. I was able to go six months without any pain before I had to see her again. She’s amazing . ?

My 13 year-old son had an ingrown toenail. He had this issue back in November and had to have part of the nail removed (with a different podiatrist). He was nervous about the surgery as it was rather painful last time. Dr. Tanwir was very kind and explained the procedure to him. She assured my son that the only uncomfortable part of the surgery would be the shots to numb the toe. She had superlative bedside manner and put him at ease. After the procedure, my son said how much better the removal went compared with the first time. I appreciated how much time she spent with us; we did not feel rushed nor did we have to wait to be seen. I would strongly recommend Dr. Tanwir.

This Doctor was great! Before meeting the doctor though wasn’t so great. I went to the lobby and my name didn’t come up on their system until a few minutes before my appointment. Then I got lost getting to the office, but that’s on me.

Fantastic experience! Dr Tanwir is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had an ingrown toenail extracted but actually had a good time at the office because Dr. Tanwir kept my mind off of it with a great bedside manner. 10/10 would toenail remove again.
