Impactful Care® is a physician-led medical practice for adults who want more than a rushed, transactional healthcare encounter.
Founded by Kiplee Bell, MD, MS, PA-C, Impactful Care® was created around a simple belief: excellent medicine requires clinical expertise, thoughtful listening, clear communication, and enough context to understand the person—not simply the diagnosis.
Dr. Bell's clinical career has spanned primary and internal medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, rheumatology, geriatrics, chronic disease management, and the care of medically complex adults.
That breadth matters.
A symptom rarely exists in isolation. Medications interact. Chronic conditions overlap. A hospitalization changes what happens at home. Aging changes function. Caregiving affects health. Recommendations from multiple specialists do not always fit neatly together.
Impactful Care® was designed to connect those dots.

All initial appointments scheduled through Zocdoc are telehealth consultations.

Our team verifies the information needed to prepare for your visit—including your identity, location, insurance when applicable, pharmacy, and required health information.

We prepare your chart before your appointment so clinical time can focus on your health—not paperwork.

5. CONNECT
Meet with your Impactful Care® clinician by secure telehealth.

6. ACT
Leave with clear next steps, which may include prescriptions, laboratory testing, imaging, referrals, records review, preventive planning, or follow-up care.

When appropriate, continue your relationship through follow-up care or explore other Impactful Care® services.

8. CLOSE THE LOOP
When insurance is used, eligible services are submitted to your insurer. After the claim is processed, any established patient responsibility is communicated through our billing system.

When you reserve an appointment through Zocdoc, that clinical time is being held specifically for you.
Missed appointments and late cancellations create a real cost to a small medical practice and prevent another patient from using that appointment.
Please schedule only an appointment you reasonably expect to keep.
If your plans change, please cancel or reschedule as early as possible.
Repeated missed appointments, late cancellations, or failure to complete required pre-visit information may affect our ability to accept future appointment requests.
Controlled Substance Policy
Impactful Care® does not prescribe controlled substances.
This includes controlled medications such as opioid pain medications, benzodiazepines, stimulant medications, and other medications classified as controlled substances.
If your condition may require treatment involving a controlled medication, your clinician may recommend evaluation by the appropriate qualified professional, including pain management, psychiatry, addiction medicine, or another appropriate specialty clinician.
Please do not schedule an Impactful Care® appointment for the purpose of obtaining, refilling, replacing, or continuing a controlled-substance prescription.
This practice policy applies to new and established patients.
BEFORE YOUR VISIT: COMPLETE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
After your appointment is accepted, you will receive instructions to complete your Impactful Care® registration.
Please complete all required registration information promptly and accurately before your appointment.
This is not busywork.
Accurate information allows us to verify your identity, determine your physical location for telehealth care, verify applicable insurance information, identify your pharmacy, safely prescribe when clinically appropriate, place laboratory and diagnostic orders, make referrals, communicate with other healthcare professionals, and coordinate your care.
Required information can include:
- Full legal name and date of birth
- Current residential address and contact information
- Government-issued photo identification
- Current insurance card(s), front and back
- Current Medicare information when applicable
- Preferred pharmacy and pharmacy location
- Current medications and allergies
- Relevant medical and surgical history
- Emergency contact
- Required consents and practice acknowledgments
- Additional identifying information when required to complete a healthcare transaction
- Payment information when applicable

Impactful Care® takes the privacy and security of your personal and health information seriously.

If you're uncomfortable providing something we've requested, please contact our team rather than simply leaving it blank. We can explain why it is needed and whether an alternative is available.
Missing required information may delay our ability to complete prescriptions, laboratory orders, referrals, insurance verification, diagnostic testing, or other aspects of your care.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR FIRST VISIT
Your initial Zocdoc appointment is conducted by telehealth.
Your clinician will address the reason you sought care while considering the broader clinical context that may influence it.
Depending on your needs, this can include review of your symptoms, chronic medical conditions, medications, previous testing, specialists, recent hospital or emergency encounters, preventive needs, functional concerns, aging-related changes, caregiving circumstances, and personal health goals.
Not every problem can—or should—be solved during one appointment.
Additional records, laboratory testing, imaging, specialist evaluation, follow-up, or in-person assessment may be necessary.
If your clinician believes you require an in-person examination, emergency evaluation, specialty care, or another level of care, we will tell you.

MORE THAN ONE WAY TO RECEIVE CARE
Telehealth is the entry point for new patients scheduling through Zocdoc, but Impactful Care® offers a broader continuum of care.
Depending upon clinical appropriateness, eligibility, location, and availability, patients may have access to:
Telehealth Medical Care — thoughtful medical evaluation, chronic disease management, medication management, preventive care, and follow-up.
Concierge Care — an enhanced ongoing relationship for patients seeking greater continuity, access, care coordination, and personalized support.
Medical Weight Management — private-pay, clinician-guided weight-management services for appropriate patients. Treatment decisions are individualized; no particular medication is guaranteed.
Geriatric & Aging-Related Care — support for older adults and families navigating chronic disease, medications, function, transitions, and complex healthcare needs.
Chronic & Complex Care — longitudinal care for adults whose medical needs extend beyond one isolated diagnosis.
Care Coordination & Clinical Advocacy — assistance navigating specialists, hospitals, diagnostic testing, treatment recommendations, records, and fragmented healthcare systems.
Booking through Zocdoc does not automatically enroll a patient in concierge, medical weight management, or another specialized service.
INSURANCE & PRIVATE-PAY OPTIONS
Impactful Care® works with selected insurance plans in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Please refer to the insurance participation information displayed when scheduling.
Providing insurance information or verifying eligibility does not guarantee coverage or payment. Deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, authorization requirements, exclusions, and other patient responsibilities are determined by your individual plan.
Private Pay
The private-pay telehealth visit fee is $250.
Private-pay care is available for patients who are uninsured, whose plan is not accepted, or who elect to receive eligible services outside their insurance benefits.
Using insurance? The $250 fee does NOT apply in addition to your insurance. We bill accepted insurance plans; your responsibility is based on your benefits. Not using insurance? The private-pay telehealth rate is $250. Please complete all required intake before your visit
Concierge care, medical weight management, and other specialized programs have separate pricing and enrollment requirements.
COMMUNICATION AFTER YOUR VISIT
Our practice team can assist with scheduling, registration, records, insurance information, referrals, forms, and routine administrative matters.
New symptoms, significant changes in your condition, medication decisions, or questions requiring clinical assessment may require an appointment rather than extended medical care by text or email.
Electronic communication is not appropriate for emergencies.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately.
A PARTNERSHIP REQUIRES BOTH OF US
We ask patients to complete registration accurately, maintain current insurance/pharmacy/medication information, respect scheduled appointment times, complete recommended follow-up, communicate through appropriate channels, and tell us when something is unclear.
In return, we commit to prepare, listen, explain, practice evidence-based medicine, apply thoughtful clinical judgment, communicate next steps, respect your privacy and dignity, and tell you when another clinician or level of care is appropriate.
