I had a great appointment. I always feel very judged by doctors because of my weight. It came up but only in passing as something to be aware of. The rest of the time was going over actual history concerns and my gender which I so appreciated. No doctor has ever asked me outright about my goals with gender presentation. I am so happy with my visit and feel really good about continuing the doctor/patient relationship with Dr. Thambuswamy.

I was so excited to hear that Dr. Thambuswamy opened a new practice. She was previously my doctor and I have always had a very positive experience with her. One of the things I really appreciate about her is that even when I have given up and just accepted that a medical issue is unsolvable, she convinces me to try something new and reminds me that quality of life is worth the effort - that I don't have to just perpetually tolerate somwthing that is bothering me. She is a great listener and provides great thought partnership and expertise to help me reach my health goals.
