Inclusive Relationship Therapy
At Inclusive Relationship Therapy, my work is grounded in one core belief: relationships are medicine. The quality of your connections — romantic, familial, professional — has a direct and measurable impact on your mental health, your physical health, and your overall quality of life. That's not just a philosophy. It's what the science tells us. And it's what drives everything I do in the therapy room.
Who I Work With
I work with queer and straight couples and individuals who are ready to invest in their relationships and, by extension, their well-being. Whether you're navigating communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, the impact of trauma, or the unique challenges that come with being in an LGBTQ+ relationship, this is a space where you are fully welcome and affirmed.
My Methods
I draw from a set of evidence-based frameworks that I integrate fluidly based on what each client needs:
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): A research-backed approach that helps couples and individuals identify and shift the emotional patterns that keep them stuck, and build deeper, more secure bonds.
Trauma-Informed Care: I approach all of my work with an understanding of how trauma shapes relationships and behavior, creating a space where healing can happen safely and at your pace.
Solution-Focused Therapy: Rather than dwelling solely on problems, I help clients identify their strengths and build practical, forward-moving strategies toward the outcomes they want.
Strength-Based Approach: I believe you already have what it takes. My role is to help you access the resilience and capacity that's already within you.
What Makes My Practice Distinct
I bring relationship science directly into the therapy room. I don't just help couples talk to each other better — I help them understand why their patterns exist, what research tells us about what makes relationships thrive, and how to apply that knowledge in their real lives.
I also take a genuinely holistic view of health. Emotional health and physical health are not separate — they are deeply intertwined. If you are managing a chronic illness, a health condition, or physical symptoms, we will explore how your relationships may be contributing to or helping manage those experiences. Strengthening your relationships is not separate from taking care of your health. It is part of it.
Teletherapy Across Missouri, Illinois, and Florida
All sessions are held via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth video, making it easy and convenient to access care from wherever you are. I am licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and Florida.
If you're looking for a therapist who will be direct with you, believe in you, and help you build something real — I'd love to connect.
