This was the third time i have been to Inova Urgent Care and the 2 prior times were great. This time was not so. Though I was seen right away, the practitioners would leave the room often and for extended periods of time, with few updates along the way to let me know why they were gone. They provided absolutely no meaningful advice after being in the office for 2 hours, and I left with them saying "everything looks good" when it clearly was not. They were also not clear about the results of the tests they took.

I DO NOT find the staff very friendly and professional. They need more training in customer service especially the way they speak with patients. The doctor was attentive although it took more than an hour before our names were called. It wasn't a good experience. They could have done better.

It was great. Convenient location and hours. Only down side was that the x ray tech wasn’t there so I had to go elsewhere for the xray. But I was given a referral to a nearby clinic at no additional cost.

I couldn't be more thankful that I went to Inova Urgent Care in Mclean. It felt like I had a foreign object in my left eye.They did not have on hand the ointment needed to put die in my eye, but called a nearby optometry clinic to see if they had an opening. The clinic did and I was seen by an eye doctor who took care of my problem. I feel this is above and beyond what is expected. Not my first experience with this urgent care clinic. Was instrumental last visit in finding me a hand surgeon.

The doctor had already decided I did not have an issue and recommended over the counter medicine. Although I told her the over counter worked temporarily. I needed something stronger. She did not see it that way. I won’t be going back.

I waited approximately 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, despite the office only having one other patient. When I was finally brought back, the front desk staff member/nurse who took my vitals was cold, dismissive, and had a noticeably poor attitude throughout our interaction. After putting the blood pressure cuff on me, I made a slight adjustment in my seat, she rolled her eyes, and said, “Well, you’re not supposed to move when it’s on you, so now I have to take it off and redo it. Uncross your legs and lay back down.” She went to the computer to ask my identification questions. At one point, after I answered a question, she stared at me and when I repeated my answer, she said nothing and resumed typing. When she asked why I was there and I explained my eye was swollen, she asked, “Which one?” despite the answer being visibly apparent. She left the room without telling me whether to wait or when a provider would arrive. Nobody came for another 30 minutes after that

Overall, I had a good experience at this urgent care. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and I was seen right away with virtually no wait time. My visit was quick, and they were able to address my issue efficiently. The NP seemed a little unsure at times and performed only a brief exam, but they ultimately knew how to treat my condition and managed my pain appropriately. Despite that, the treatment was effective, and I left feeling better since I now knew that we have a plan and how to treat and move forward if the initial treatment isn't effective. Overall, I'd return if I needed urgent care again.
