Integrative Psychiatry of Houston
I am an experienced board-certified integrative adult psychiatrist and psychotherapist. I specialize in whole-person approach addressing treatment resistant depression, anxiety and trauma utilizing dialectical behavior therapy, somatic EMDR, as well as psychedelics.
I had my training at Baylor College of Medicine. I completed psychodynamic psychotherapy and integrative psychiatry fellowships. My career has focused on teaching and supervising trainees and advance practitioners, patient care and utilization of psychotherapy and medications as I truly believe in the power of collaborative therapeutic work & informed decision-making process when it comes to co-creating an individualized treatment meaningful for the person who is reaching out to me. I worked with adults ages 18 and older from different cultural/spiritual and socioeconomic backgrounds, minorities, HIV positive and gender variant individuals, immigrants, DACA participants, BIPOC and veterans/military members.
