Dr. Emily and her staff were considerate, empathetic and very knowledgeable. I was a new patient and hoped this could be my new primary OB and I was instantly put at ease with that decision.

I texted my husband after my appointment saying, "That was the worst doctor's appointment of my life." I haven't written a negative review before, but this was a rough experience. I scheduled this appointment hoping to ask a series of questions about my health, medications, and how to prevent future issues, but there was no space at any time for me to ask a single question. He didn't use my name, make eye contact, ask for details about any of my concerns, and very weakly explained the medications that were prescribed. He was also pretty physically rough; I remember looking to one of the two med students for help. I had to really raise my voice to try to get a word in. I left feeling incredibly frustrated and a bit violated. When looking at the post-appointment notes he recorded, some of the information he wrote was inaccurate, proving to me that he wasn't listening. I've had fantastic experiences at IMHC before, but this was completely unhelpful.
