Into the Wild Counseling
Do you find yourself struggling with feelings of overwhelm and anxiety, unsure how to feel better, uncertain how to access the life you want to live? In practice, I create a safe space for you to be your true, authentic self without fear of judgment. I work with adults on issues related to anxiety, stress, relationships and traumatic experiences. At different points throughout our lives, we can feel out of harmony with ourselves and those most important to us. Having a compassionate and understanding ally to support you on your journey to feeling more like yourself again can make all the difference.
I use a collaborative approach to therapy which is strongly influenced by an understanding of attachment theory, trauma, parts-work and somatic experiencing. I have had formal training in EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Together, we will work to understand and shift stories ingrained in the psyche and cultivate self-compassion and acceptance.
At Into the Wild Counseling, I provide in-person Walk and Talk sessions (you and I meet on local hiking or walking trails) as well as telehealth sessions. Calling a therapist can be intimidating, but I hope you'll take a moment (and a deep breath) to begin your journey with me to feeling happier, more confident and more secure.
