My appointment with Dr. Wood was wonderful. I was unsure what to expect as I’ve never met with a Psychiatrist but he listened to my concerns and made me feel understood and not criticized. For the first time, I feel properly diagnosed, and the medication plan he recommended has already significantly improved my quality of life.

I have only had one visit with Dr. Wood but I really liked him! He is very knowledgeable about medications and psychiatry. Not once did I feel rushed and I felt like I could be completely open with him about my struggles. He is super easy to get a hold of and is very flexible. I had to reschedule my first appointment due to a family matter and that was no problem. I also didn’t get charged a fee for canceling late. Before our first appointment, he took the time to call me and say that he was not in network with my insurance and gave me the option to either find another provider or be a self-pay patient and submit super bills to my insurance. I thought that was incredibly nice thing for him to look into and for him to personally call me to let me know. Overall, I really liked Dr. Wood and will continue to see him.
