Exceptional Doctor with Genuine Care and Professionalism I was looking for an experienced and reputable MD doctor when I came across Dr. Isaac K. Wood. From the very first phone call, he was extremely professional, supportive, and patient. During both the phone conversation and virtual appointment, he took the time to carefully understand my concerns, provided detailed explanations and diagnosis, and suggested the best possible treatment options. What stood out the most was his kindness, attention to detail, and the genuine care he shows toward his patients. Beyond being an excellent doctor, I also found him to be a person of great character, professionalism, and civic sense. I truly appreciate the level of care and guidance he provided.

Dr. Wood is fine until he is not. I was late for two appointments and he dropped me as a patient. He should understand his patients given that he was treating me for ADHD, the problem with running late is an epitome symptom.

My appointment with Dr. Wood was wonderful. I was unsure what to expect as I’ve never met with a Psychiatrist but he listened to my concerns and made me feel understood and not criticized. For the first time, I feel properly diagnosed, and the medication plan he recommended has already significantly improved my quality of life.

I have only had one visit with Dr. Wood but I really liked him! He is very knowledgeable about medications and psychiatry. Not once did I feel rushed and I felt like I could be completely open with him about my struggles. He is super easy to get a hold of and is very flexible. I had to reschedule my first appointment due to a family matter and that was no problem. I also didn’t get charged a fee for canceling late. Before our first appointment, he took the time to call me and say that he was not in network with my insurance and gave me the option to either find another provider or be a self-pay patient and submit super bills to my insurance. I thought that was incredibly nice thing for him to look into and for him to personally call me to let me know. Overall, I really liked Dr. Wood and will continue to see him.
