IYA Medical is at the Forefront of Interventional Radiology IYA Medical’s Program of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (IR) uses state-of-the-art minimally invasive techniques and imaging-guidance to replace conventional surgery. IR radiologists are involved in the treatment of patients as well as the diagnosis of disease, providing a full array of patient care for the chest, abdomen, and extremities. Services include diagnostic arteriography, renal and peripheral vascular interventions, biliary, thoracic, and abdominal stent-grafts, venous access procedures, and embolization cancer therapies. The IR Clinic provides patient evaluations and referral follow-ups, with special emphasis on regional therapy of liver, bone, breast, spine malignancies, uterine fibroid embolization, and ablations. With the use of catheters, various x-ray, and imaging techniques using CT, MRI, and Ultrasound scanner machines, IR offers an alternative to surgical treatment and can eliminate the need for hospitalization in certain cases.

Would not recommend, i've been there a handful of times and I'm ready to do one more appointment as a follow up from a procedure and I don't think I will be back. He has so many great reviews but things with the office must have changed recently. So many reviews said he was responsive and I have not experienced any of that. I don't even know if he was in the room when my procedures were performed. He didn't come in before or after. There is always a 2-3hr plus wait. I was scheduled for a procedure at 830 and not taken back until around 1030. I found out later it was because the doctor WAS NOT EVEN AT THE OFFICE YET. While my spouse was waiting for me in the waiting room, another patient walked out because he had been waiting for 2+ hrs and the front desk let him know the doctor was not there yet. After hearing about that, I realized that is why I had to wait so long for my "first scheduled appt of the morning" procedure. They over book, then make excuses.
