Jaded Hearts - Center for Healing
Welcome to Jaded Hearts – Center for Healing
Where compassion, clarity, emotional attunement, and creative expression meet to restore balance from the inside out.
Jaded Hearts – Center for Healing is a boutique, trauma-informed psychotherapy practice offering a deeply supportive and integrative approach to emotional wellness. Located in Montclair, New Jersey—with virtual services available statewide—the practice serves adults, women, mothers, and families who are navigating anxiety, postpartum changes, betrayal trauma, relationship distress, high-functioning overwhelm, and the emotional weight of trying to “hold everything together” while no one notices how heavy it has become.
My therapeutic philosophy centers around the belief that healing happens when we feel grounded, seen, safe, and supported by someone who truly understands both our emotional experience and the complexity of our internal world. For many of my clients, therapy is not just a space to cope—it becomes a space to understand themselves deeply, reclaim their identity, rewrite emotional narratives, and break generational patterns that no longer serve them.
🌿 Who I Support
My practice attracts individuals who are self-aware, introspective, and motivated for meaningful change. Many of my clients are high-achieving women, mothers, and professionals who have spent years caring for others, excelling under pressure, or holding themselves to unrealistic internal standards. On the outside, they look capable and composed; on the inside, they often feel exhausted, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure how to slow down.
I work with clients across New Jersey—including Montclair, Short Hills, Livingston, Chatham, Summit, Essex Fells, Glen Ridge, West Caldwell, Verona, Fairfield, Maplewood, South Orange, and surrounding affluent Essex and Morris County towns—who seek a grounded, emotionally safe, and supportive therapeutic environment. Many come to therapy because they are navigating:
• Anxiety or high-functioning anxiety
• Postpartum depression, anxiety, or identity shifts
• Infidelity and betrayal trauma
• Chronic emotional overwhelm or burnout
• Co-parenting stress or separation
• Childhood emotional neglect
• Patterns of people-pleasing or perfectionism
• Relationship instability or attraction to emotionally unavailable partners
• Loss of identity after major life transitions
• Unresolved grief
• Complex family dynamics
Others come because they are ready to explore the deeper emotional layers of their lives—the patterns they inherited, the beliefs they absorbed, and the cycles they are now committed to breaking.
🔥 The Cycle-Breaker’s Path
One of the core themes of this practice—and one of the most powerful parts of my work—is helping clients become conscious of the generational patterns they carry and supporting them in choosing new ways of being.
Many of my clients are the first in their families to:
• set boundaries
• choose a healthy partner
• leave a toxic or emotionally unsafe relationship
• prioritize their mental health
• parent differently than they were parented
• stop the cycle of betrayal or emotional abandonment
• build a life rooted in self-respect and emotional clarity
• speak the truth out loud after generations of silence
• choose themselves
Being a cycle-breaker is courageous work. It is not simply self-improvement—it is generational healing. In therapy, we explore the emotional patterns passed down through family, culture, relationships, survival instincts, and unspoken rules. We identify how these patterns show up in your nervous system, your parenting, your love life, your friendships, your self-worth, and your choices.
We don’t approach this with blame. We approach it with understanding, compassion, and intention. Together, we build the internal structure you need to show up differently, respond differently, and choose differently—so your life becomes aligned with the values, relationships, and peace you deserve.
🎨 Integrative, Creative, Trauma-Informed Care
My therapeutic approach is an intentional blend of:
• trauma-informed psychotherapy
• art therapy & creative processing
• attachment-based exploration
• nervous system regulation
• somatic awareness & grounding
• cognitive and mindfulness-based strategies
• values-aligned identity work
• internal family systems (IFS)–informed parts exploration
• boundary development and relational skill-building
• postpartum support
• functional medicine–informed mental health strategies
Art therapy is a core modality for clients who hold emotions they cannot yet express verbally. Creative processing offers access to deeper truth, clarity, and emotional release in ways talk therapy alone cannot always reach.
My work is deeply collaborative. I am warm, validating, gentle, and attuned—but also active, skilled, and direct when needed. Together, we create a therapy experience that supports safety, insight, emotional grounding, and meaningful transformation.
🧘♀️ Mind–Body Integration
Emotional healing is not just cognitive. It is nervous-system-based.
I integrate grounding techniques, somatic awareness, breathwork, and mind-body strategies to help clients:
• calm their internal system
• reduce anxiety
• understand triggers
• respond instead of react
• reconnect with their intuition
• regulate overwhelming emotions
• feel safe in their bodies again
This work is particularly meaningful for postpartum mothers, trauma survivors, and individuals with high-functioning anxiety who struggle to slow down or feel at home within themselves.
❤️🩹 Relationship & Attachment Healing
Many clients come to therapy because they are navigating:
• betrayal
• infidelity
• inconsistent partners
• emotionally unavailable relationships
• painful cycles that repeat across partners
• co-parenting conflict
• separation or divorce
• fear of abandonment
• difficulty trusting others
• inability to ask for needs or express boundaries
We explore attachment wounds, relational patterns, and the deeper internal scripts that shape how you love—and how you want to be loved going forward.
This work is not about fixing another person.
It is about understanding yourself so deeply that you become empowered to choose differently, communicate differently, and build the relationships you deserve.
🌸 Postpartum, Motherhood, and Identity Work
Motherhood shifts your identity, relationships, nervous system, and emotional world in profound ways—especially when layered with stress, betrayal, burnout, sleep deprivation, or lack of support.
I support postpartum clients through:
• anxiety
• rage
• fears
• grief
• body changes
• relationship strain
• identity transitions
• intrusive thoughts
• emotional overload
• pressure to “do it all”
• loneliness
• perfectionism
• breaking cycles of parenting patterns
Whether you are a new mother, single mother, healing mother, or everything in between—therapy becomes a place to breathe, reconnect, and rebuild your sense of self in a way that feels authentic and nourishing.
🌱 A Boutique, High-Support Therapeutic Experience
Jaded Hearts – Center for Healing is intentionally designed as a boutique, high-touch practice. Sessions are unhurried, attuned, emotionally grounded, and tailored to your internal landscape.
This practice is ideal for clients who want:
• depth over surface-level coping
• emotional regulation plus insight
• compassionate yet skilled therapeutic guidance
• generational trauma exploration
• meaningful inner change
• safe, consistent, private support
• flexible virtual options
• a therapist who adapts to their pace, story, and identity
Clients appreciate the calm, restorative environment of the Montclair office and the accessibility of statewide virtual care.

I asked for help with disordered eating and the provider implied she was well versed in this. Our conversations showed otherwise.
In addition I asked to push an appointment back by 10 minutes and I was charged a cancellation fee. However the provider had missed one of our sessions previously. She also ended a session halfway through and charged me the full price of the session. While I understand there is a cancellation fee, the actions of the provider prior to this “cancelled session” prove she did not take my mental health seriously. There was a double standard here.
Poor communication prior to the sessions, during and after. Would not recommend.
