Dr. Jaklin Morovati is a board-certified periodontist who has been in practice for the last 20 years. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists and the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Morovati received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, where she was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society.
She completed her training in periodontics and implant dentistry and received her certificate from New York University. Since completing her training, Dr. Morovati has been a Clinical Assistant Professor in periodontics and implant dentistry for the postdoctoral and clinical residency program at the New York University College of Dentistry. This has enabled her to provide her patients with the most up-to-date treatment modalities with their best outcome.
Dr. Jaklin Morovati practices periodontics (surgical and non-surgical treatments), reconstructive periodontal surgery, oral medicine and surgical placement of dental implants. She is also a certified Invisalign® provider. Her office is equipped with state of the art technology, including digital radiology and several implant operating systems. She takes pride in providing her patients with comprehensive treatment in a warm and caring environment. Her therapeutic regimen includes addressing the aesthetic and functional needs of every patient.

I had a consultation with Dr. Morovti for a surgery. After deciding to go with another doctor for my surgery, she called me a few weeks later and berated me over the phone for taking an appointment with her if I wasn't going to have the surgery.
They also charged me extra money for the initial consultation on top of my copay, which was never refunded.

Dr. Morovati was exceptionally compassionate and went out of her way to make time for my appointment when she wasn’t normally scheduled. Her expertise is top-notch and her attention to detail had me blow away. For a first time patient, I felt right at home!

Dr. Morovati was great. The office is clean (although small). Staff - super friendly and accommodating. Bedside manner was 5 out of 5. I couldn't ask for a better experience as I was nervous to begin with. Super informative, clear direction on next steps, provided context as to what she was doing and why. Dr. Morovati is a true professional. She is best at her specialty and is very experienced. The office is very calming. I loved the experience of being cared for in this office. She is very thorough and her exam is very detailed. She explained every procedure that I needed and reviewed its pros and cons. I didn't feel I was being forced in any way. I am one of those people who hates going to the dentist, especially after my last visit when the two doctors (or doctor and assistant maybe, they never really told me who was who) were fighting over tools while they were working on me. After breaking a tooth recently, I knew I didn't have a choice but to suck it up and see someone; Dr. Morovati had great reviews, and though I was skeptical and nervous, she was nearby and could see me quickly. It turns out that all the great reviews were very well deserved. She and the staff that I met were all really pleasant, had great bedside manner, took time to answer my questions, and really treated me like a person instead of an appointment to get through. Now I don't have to dread an uncomfortable pain fest every six months! I highly recommend Dr. Morovati and her team.
