Healing can look very different between individuals.
In therapy we will work together to create treatment plan that can include things like personalized coping skills, mindfulness, trauma processing and reprocessing, learning distress tolerance skills, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
With coaching we use biofeedback tools to help synchronize your heart, brain, and nervous system for less stress, more energy and improved well being.

Most relevant
They mixed up my intake session and did not communicate that it would be done virtually until 20 minutes before my appointment. Jamie said it was some booking error through zocdoc that wasn't accurately displaying her appointments. Then after establishing that the intake appointment would be virtual for the following week, I waiting for a link- nothing. I texted her the day before the appointment, and she replied that she thought my intake session would be in person. I try to be understanding of technology/booking issues, things happen. But it's frustrating to have a provider who can't seem to remember something as basic as your appointment time and format. Not a great rapport-building technique for someone whose job it is to get you to trust them with your vulnerabilities.
