Our Mission and Values: Our mission is to empower individuals by providing high-quality, accessible, and evidence-based therapy in a supportive and inclusive environment. We believe that mental health care should be personalized, practical, and rooted in genuine human connection. What we value: Compassion & Empathy: We meet you where you are—with no judgment, just understanding and respect. Collaboration: You are the expert in your own life. We partner with you to create a plan that fits your unique needs and goals. Growth & Healing: We believe in your capacity for change, resilience, and self-discovery. Integrity: We provide professional, ethical, and evidence-informed care that centers your well-being. Inclusivity: We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. You might be: Tired of constant worry and “what ifs” stealing your peace of mind Struggling to balance demanding work environments with your mental and emotional needs Feeling frustrated by symptoms of ADHD—like forgetfulness, distraction, or time blindness—that affect your daily life Navigating a complicated relationship with food or body image and craving peace and confidence Grieving a loss or adjusting to a major life change and unsure how to move forward Feeling so low or depleted that it’s hard to remember what it’s like to feel like yourself again Whatever your story, we’re here to listen, support, and walk alongside you as you find your way forward. Conditions We Treat Our therapists specialize in supporting clients with a wide range of mental health needs. Some of the areas we work with most often include: Anxiety Disorders ADHD & Executive Functioning Concerns OCD & Phobias Depression Bipolar Disorder Trauma & PTSD Grief & Loss Relationship & Family Concerns Career & Workplace Stress Disordered Eating & Body Image Life Transitions & Adjustment Chronic Illness & Pain Pregnancy & Postpartum Mental Health Identity & Self-Esteem Issues We take a trauma-informed, affirming, and culturally sensitive approach to each of these concerns, helping clients feel safe and supported in every step of their journey. How We Work We know that no two people are exactly alike, which is why we personalize our therapeutic approach to match your specific needs, personality, and goals. Our clinicians use a variety of research-backed methods to help you build insight, develop practical tools, and make meaningful progress. Therapeutic approaches we use include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helps you understand and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT): Encourages acceptance, mindfulness, and values-based living. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Teaches emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Internal Family Systems (IFS): Explores and heals the different “parts” of you that may be in conflict or pain. Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT): Helps you tap into your strengths and identify immediate steps toward your goals. Supportive Psychotherapy: Offers a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk through challenges with warmth and understanding. We value flexibility and collaboration in the therapy room. If one approach isn’t quite the right fit, we adjust—because our work is about you, not just the method. What Makes Us Different: Specialization in Neurodivergence: We understand that ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent traits are not flaws—they’re differences in how people think, feel, and interact with the world. We work with your strengths while helping you manage challenges in practical, supportive ways. Workplace & Career Expertise: With a background in employee assistance programs (EAP), we are uniquely equipped to help clients manage work stress, navigate HR issues, and address burnout or professional conflict. Whole-Person Approach: We don’t just focus on one issue—we consider your emotional, physical, relational, and cultural context so that healing is holistic and sustainable. Real-World Tools: While we value insight and reflection, we’re also here to help you build real-life strategies that make things better now. Warm, Inclusive Environment: Whether you’re new to therapy or returning after a break, we offer a nonjudgmental, affirming space for all identities and backgrounds. Let’s Work Together Starting therapy is a brave step, and we’re honored to be part of your journey. At Jamie LaFevers and Associates, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We believe in you—your potential, your resilience, and your ability to create a life that feels more manageable, more fulfilling, and more your own. If you’re ready to talk, we’re here to listen.

I am an ongoing patient at the clinic. When I started seeing Jamie I was very disheveled and struggled to juggle all of the responsibilities in my life. I have learned so much about myself and how to continue to grow and nurture my mental health with Jamie's encouragement and guidance. I continue to seek counsel with her because, well, life is constantly bringing more challenges and obstacles for me to manage. I appreciate the ongoing care I receive to enlighten and guide me as the challenges in my life keep coming and my goals continue to change. Having a counselor that has gotten to know me and understands me and truly listens is invaluable to me because she makes me feel important.

I've been seeing Virginia for a few years now and am very happy with the care she provides. She brings a great balance of care, open mindedness, and challenge to each of our sessions. I often leave session feeling clear headed and motivated. The practice as a whole is great as well. Their site interface is easy to understand and they are very clear and up front about any updates or changes they have.

Virginia is amazing. She is kind attentive and Very patient. She has helped me so-much on my healing journey. She challenges me in away that holds me accountable for the things that I need to continue to work on outside of session. She has always offered me a safe space where I can just be me Tears an all. I’m very grateful fo the care and knowledge she provides.

5 stars do not represent how great Lindsey is; we would give 10 if it were an option! She is very kind, authentic, and caring and connected quickly with our teenage daughter. In their time together, she does great to listen, but equally important, she helps our daughter think through steps she can take to be her best self. We can't recommend or be more thankful for Lindsey!

Kara has a lot of compassion and a lot of experience to address my problems and my concerns. She was patient and took time to let me become used to therapy and how it can be helpful. I'm very grateful to her for her help.
