I really wanted to feel understood and supported during my appointment, but unfortunately that wasn’t my experience. I felt like my concerns were minimized, and the conversation focused more on fitting me into a framework than actually listening to what I was going through. At times, the tone and responses felt subtly dismissive and made it hard for me to feel safe opening up. I left more confused and unseen than before.

I truly felt listened to, and understood by Jennifer Ha. I felt that she asked INCREDIBLE questions, and helped me see deeper within myself. I also love that her first recommendation isn’t simply to prescribe medications, but to learn about what our emotions are telling us, and how we are perceiving ourselves. I’m excited to work with Jennifer Ha again!

One of the best providers I have had! I have seen about 9 different mental health care providers and this is definitely the first time I have felt culturally understood while also emotionally related to and empathized instead of just a boring clinical experience.
