WELCOME to Jessica Kaylor Skin, helping you understand and treat the root cause of skin problems — medically, cosmetically, and holistically.
The Functional Derm is a functional medicine dermatology practice led by the only board-certified functional medicine provider dedicated exclusively to identifying and treating the root causes of skin conditions. Our approach to skin health goes beyond topical treatments and symptom management—focusing instead on how internal imbalances drive chronic and recurring skin concerns.
Currently serving patients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Visits in New Jersey are at locations greater than 2 mi from 80 River St in Hoboken NJ.

Dr. Kaylor listened to my situation and helped with my acne even though I wasn't experiencing a flare up. She gave me a few options and recommendations because I requested it, and helped me understand my skin better. She was also very kind in pointing out harmful habits for my skin that I didn't know I was doing. I would recommend 100%

It was definitely worth my 4 hours to go see her! She went above and beyond any other dermatologist has ever. She made me feel confident that my acne was identified and a treatment plan was put in place for my skin to become clear again and I could get my self confidence back! No other dermatologist identified it nor was so clear on what I should do to resolve the issue. No wait, my appointment was right on schedule and the office was immaculate. Dr. Kaylor was so easy to talk to and really took the time with me. She was patient, listened ,examined my skin thoroughly and explained what she was prescribing and how to use it. I was very impressed, if I could give her more than the limit of 5 I would because she is Amazing!!! Highly recommend!!!

Jessica sees my son and my wife. She is absolutely fantastic. She walks through everything with me and explains it in a way I understand, and if I don't understand will help me understand. My face has cleared up, she also treats my son's severe eczema that he's had since being a baby - he's 12 now. This is the first time any dr has given him any real attention.
