Swipe right on me! Just kidding, different app. But seriously, I would love to hear from you. I specialize in affirming your strengths while identifying your barriers to growth. These are often outdated beliefs that no longer serve you (and they often involve the word “should”). It is a huge relief to be free of these rigid thought patterns. My clients are able to feel more comfortable in their own skin and achieve greater balance and peace in their lives. This often includes the ability to say “no” when needed, without guilt. I especially enjoy working with women to navigate relationship challenges with partners and families. EMDR is amazing if you haven't tried it. Look it up! Overall I strive to be practical and down to earth. Together we would find techniques that work for YOU to soothe and calm yourself. We can talk about communication skills and setting boundaries. I'm also happy to just listen. If you’re ready to schedule a session, I would love to hear from you. I encourage you to give counseling a try, even if you've had negative experiences in the past. Take a chance on yourself!
