Jessica Volpe, LMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of experience in the field. I utilize a nonjudgmental and easygoing approach to therapy to help my clients feel comfortable with the therapeutic process. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults providing therapy for clients who seek treatment for anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, mood disorders, substance abuse and other mental health concerns. My educational background includes a Bachelors in Psychology from Stonehill College, a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and CAGS in Forensic Services from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
My approach focuses on creating a warm and nurturing space to provide support and facilitate empowerment. My therapeutic style is client-centered and strength-based. I use a combination of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
My goal is to create a safe space for my clients where they can explore challenges, process negative experiences, and develop healthy coping skills.
