At JNP Mental Health, we provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care in a supportive, judgment-free environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered. Led by Jose Gabriel Chavez, APRN, PMHNP-BC, AGACNP-BC
Jose is a dual board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in psychiatric and mental health care, with a strong background in both behavioral health and complex medical conditions. He offers a combined medication management and psychotherapy approach delivered through secure, HIPAA-compliant telepsychiatry across all of Florida. Care is provided in both English and Spanish.

I had an excellent experience with Jose Chavez. They were able to fit me in on short notice at a time that worked with my schedule, which I truly appreciated. From the very first appointment, I felt heard, respected, and treated like a person, not just another patient. He took the time to really listen, answer my questions, and make me feel comfortable. It’s rare to find a provider who is both knowledgeable and genuinely compassionate. I highly recommend him and this office to anyone looking for quality mental health care.
