As your therapist I would work to help you express and explore your emotions and thoughts, and through this process to find new ways of facing life's challenges and pursuing your goals. Some issues I can work with you to address include depression, anxiety, relationship problems, self-criticism, inhibition, obsessiveness, trauma, dissatisfaction at work, feeling disconnected from others, isolation, and feeling stuck, frustrated or unfulfilled. Regarding my background, I completed my PhD in clinical psychology at Adelphi University (2021). Prior to pursuing my PhD, I also earned an MA in counseling. I have trained and worked in a variety of settings including community and hospital-based clinics and the VA system. Currently I am pursuing Post-Doctoral training in Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at NYU.
