I have a prior negative experience with a psychiatrist which made me a bit anxious to book an appointment with a new one. I found Kaliym on ZocDoc and was just booking consultations to see who would be a great fit. Based off of our first conversation it is clear that Kaliym takes pride in his knowledge and is excellent in communicating in words that can be easily understood. I didn’t feel any pressure or anxiety speaking with him. I shared my prior experience and thoughts about my feelings towards psychiatrists. Kaliym certainly took a huge weight off of my shoulders and I look forward to a continued great experience with him!

Dr. Howell is an amazing psychiatrist. I do not have great experience with therapy in the past and felt like it was a waste of time but he gives great insights and helps you navigate through life problems in a fair way. He does not tell you what to do but he explains different scenarios to help you through your logic honestly. Definitely recommended and will be seeing him often.

Kaliym Howell is genuinely one of the best providers I've had. Medication management can be a frustrating experience with the wrong doctor, but he approaches it thoughtfully and without judgment. He actually asks how things are going day to day, what's working, what isn't, and whether there are other strategies worth incorporating alongside medication. It's a holistic perspective that I really appreciate and haven't always found elsewhere. He's also incredibly responsive and just a pleasure to talk to while keeping things completely professional. You feel like you're being heard, not just processed. Highly recommend.

The provider called and texted me to confirm my appointment, which I did. I showed up 5 minutes before the appointment start and waited 15 minutes passed the appointment time and the provider failed to show up. He did not let me know if any shape or form which was very disappointing and unprofessional as I planned my time to be here. Would not recommend to others and highly suggest to the provider that he works on making sure he can attend the appointments he books.
