Kamiya Khatwani DDS is a new, modern dental practice in the heart of San Leandro, built around making dental care comfortable, convenient, and refreshingly personal.
Dr. Khatwani is warm, grounded, patient, and never pushy. She takes the time to understand your concerns, explain your options clearly, and build a treatment plan with you, not for you. Whether you’re nervous about the dentist, haven’t been in years, or simply want a dentist you can trust for the long term, you’ll be treated with patience, respect, and no judgment.
We welcome the whole family, including adults, seniors and kids, and provide comprehensive care from routine cleanings and preventive dentistry to restorative and emergency treatment.
Need to be seen quickly? We offer same-week appointments and do our best to accommodate dental emergencies, toothaches, broken teeth, swelling, and other urgent concerns.
We are in-network with all major PPO dental plans, including Delta Dental, and our team verifies your benefits before your visit.
New patients without insurance can get started with our $89 New Patient Special, including a comprehensive exam, necessary X-rays, and a regular cleaning when appropriate. New patients also receive a $10 Starbucks gift card and take-home whitening gift as our thank you for giving our new practice a try.

Honestly didn't know what to expect coming here for the first time, but I was really pleasantly surprised. Dr. Khatwani is incredibly thorough without making you feel like you're being upsold on everything. She explained what she was seeing, what she recommended, and why — which I appreciated more than I expected to.
The office itself is clean and modern, and the whole visit just felt low-stress. No long waits, no confusing next steps. Saturday hours are a huge plus for anyone who can't easily get away during the week.
