I am a therapist with a small practice, focusing on issues affecting adolescents and adults. Issues addressed can include depression, anxiety, family issues, grief, managing medical diagnoses, trauma and adjustment to life changes. Together we will explore what is troubling you, come up with a plan to improve your situation, and work on the plan together. I find it's always better to go through difficult situations when you have as much support as possible. I use evidenced-based practices such as CBT, CPT (for trauma), ACT, and DBT.

I chose Karin because I thought she was both a Christian therapist and one who was trauma-informed. She is certainly a Christian counselor so if that is your most important quality, she's a good fit. If you are looking for someone who is trauma informed, hard pass. I found her to be dismissive of past trauma and decisions made in the aftermath of that trauma. After I told her I would seek a different therapist, her parting shot was untrue and unkind. I honestly felt retraumatized after seeing her
