I have had nothing but a great experience with Karuna counseling.

Email addresses provided three different times, were still incorrect, causing problems accessing the intake forms, & multiple reminder texts to fill out the forms.
We confirmed the in-person appointment 2 separate days/times with the receptionist, even talked about payment (confirming we could pay cash) & location of office. The day before our appointment, we received a call asking to change our appointment time. We agreed, again confirming the location.
Arrived at the office 15 minutes before our 1pm appointment, there was only one woman inside who appeared to be a different counselor, who had no clue who we were or why we were there. Received a text at 12:52 stating that our online appointment would be starting soon. The counselor we were scheduled to see wasn’t even in town at the time.
Overall, it was a very disheartening experience, especially as it was our first ever experience with counseling of any kind, and the main focus of our visit was supposed to be on communication.

Karuna Counseling, LLC assigned us to Sherry Barret. She provides my wife and I couples therapy as well as individual counseling for mental health. Sherry is highly skilled and wonderful to work with. We are grateful for her services and highly recommended.
