Kaufcare Advanced Urgent Care
KaufCare is a physician-led, direct-pay medical clinic in Denver designed to deliver high-level urgent and outpatient care without the cost, complexity, or delays of the traditional healthcare system. We provide advanced, same-day medical care for a wide range of conditions—from common illnesses and injuries to more complex evaluations that often fall between urgent care and the emergency room.
Care at KaufCare is provided by board-certified emergency physicians with decades of experience managing high-acuity patients. Our approach is thorough, thoughtful, and rooted in real-world clinical judgment. We take the time to evaluate patients carefully, explain our reasoning, and involve you in decision-making—without rushing or relying on unnecessary testing.
We offer transparent, upfront pricing and do not accept insurance, allowing us to keep costs predictable and often significantly lower than hospital-based care. Patients receive a superbill if they wish to seek reimbursement independently. In-house services include point-of-care testing, IV therapy, wound care, joint and soft tissue procedures, and other advanced treatments typically not available in traditional urgent care settings.
Our model emphasizes access, efficiency, and trust. We aim to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits while maintaining a high standard of care and clear pathways for escalation when needed. If a condition requires hospital-level resources, we coordinate transfer and ensure continuity.

I went to go see Dr. Kaufman. He was very good at listening to what was going on and gathered a lot of additional information I did not initially mention.
He then walked me through what was going on and next steps. He was very detailed and informative and answered any follow up questions I had. I appreciate the time he took with me to discuss my issue and walk me through next steps. My anxiety was definitely alleviated and I am really glad I have a clear picture of what was going on and next steps.
