Bad things happen to everyone. People are injured, become sick, disabled, and pass away. Relationships change and may be lost. Sometimes it seems like more than we can handle alone. And we have trouble finding others who truly understand what we are going through—our whole world has turned upside down! My passion is working with people who have experienced an illness, injury, or loss that has caused them to begin to build their lives anew. I also love to help the care partners of people who have an illness or injury, as the care partners' lives have been altered and they deserve to be supported, too. I have over fifteen years of experience helping people whose lives have been changed by grief and loss of various kinds. I’ve journeyed with people whose lives are forever changed by disability and with those who are near the end of their lives. I have supported those who love and are caring for others but may feel left behind by illness or another loss. I know what it is like to see a dream die and a life changed. But I also have seen countless lives that have been re-formed by loss and made even more meaningful.
