Hello, I’m Kelly, a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in mental health support for a variety of communities, including Veterans, First Responders, individuals navigating post-stroke depression and aphasia, as well as caregivers, and others impacted by trauma and significant life transitions. The process of finding the right counselor can feel overwhelming. Many of my clients have expressed feeling unheard or misunderstood in the past, fearing judgment or a lack of empathy. Some grapple with aphasia or communication difficulties, encountering limited treatment options. If any of these experiences resonate with you, rest assured, you’ve come to the right place. If any of this sounds familiar, let me assure you, you’re in the right place. With advanced training in EMDR and 17 years of experience, I know how to help you recover. My approach is online only - we meet by Zoom- and is rooted in active listening and tailored support, acknowledging the multifaceted nature of each person’s journey while offering holistic strategies for healing and growth. Please note, I do not work with insurance directly but can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance if you'd like.

My appointments with Kelly are virtual, and she is punctual. Kelly's knowledge, combined with a genuine care and compassion, make me feel very comfortable in being transparent with her. She offers suggestions that are practical and helpful (eg: journaling, reading materials); these tools compliment the therapeutic work we're doing together. Kelly works with my schedule and doesn't push meeting more often than my comfort level or pocketbook. She is respectful of my faith. She is trustworthy, professional, and sincere. I recommend her to anyone desiring help with processing trauma or simply needing someone to talk to about life.
