A full range of progressive ophthalmic services are facilitated by an extraordinary group of experienced physicians who are board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Using a combination of Wavefront analysis and treatment with the all-laser, blade-free LASIK the Key-Whitman team has improved the precision and predictability of LASIK laser eye surgery. The doctors are among a few select surgeons in North Texas credentialed in the use of the Light Adjustable Lens, PanOptix®,and Symfony® intraocular lens implants which provide far, intermediate, and close-up continuous vision at the time of Cataract Surgery. Treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, and corneal disease as well as routine eye care in addition to vision correction is offered by the eye center. Dr. Whitman, a recipient of the American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award, is a Past President of the American College of Eye Surgeons, and he's been recognized by D Magazine's "Best Doctors" peer review as one of Dallas' best each year since 2001.

I am 65 and had not had an eye appointment anywhere for 7 years. I expected that I would try to be sold on some procedure that Key-Whitman provides. Instead, I was informed that I didn't have glaucoma, that the cataract level I was at did not require any additional attention at this time and was given a new glasses prescription. No one even asked me to try their glasses sales. I was completely happy with my visit.

Efficient and thorough. Everyone was friendly and nice. My only complaint is that after my series of test...my wait for the doctor was 35 minutes for a 5 minute evaluation. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this facility.

I've been three times and each time I received professional care with each situation thoroughly detailed by the doctor and knowledgable nurses. Additionally, online patient portal reports are provided post visit in-case you missed details mentioned during visit. I've been very impressed with their timeliness and overall care.

Very busy office so there was a bit of a wait but the front office staff were very nice. Once I got back, the Doctor came back fairly quickly after some initial vitals and such by the nurse. Examination was quick but the doctor was very thorough and explained everything clearly.

The doctor visited me for 2 minutes. I had follow up questions I asked the nurse who came in with him that was different than the one who wrote down my history initially. I asked questions that were noted with the first nurse, but were not reviewed during the visit with the doctor. The second nurse had to go back to the doctor and ask questions. Worse, I looked at my chart online and it includes more information than was excluded in person, including more over the counter treatments I am to take that wasn't even mentioned!
