KHL Orthodontics LLC is a state-of-the-art modern orthodontic practice located in Northvale, New Jersey. Since the grand opening of the Northvale office in December, 2011, our practice has been creating beautiful smiles for many happy patients.

Dr Hyon is super patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. I had braces for 18months to correct my bite and I’m super happy with the results. I knew I had a challenging case and I wanted to get my bite as close to perfect as possible, so I knew braces were the best option— they can do so much more than Invisalign. Would recommend!

dr. hyon is a really great orthodontist! I have short roots from previous orthodontics treatment and all the other doctors I consulted said that was going to cause a lot of issues, but Dr. Hyon was pretty positive about it.
I had fixed braces as an adult, the results were great both functionally and aesthetically! Really an expert at her work!

Ive always had good experiences with Dr. HYON because she's done my braces since I was a child in elementary school, and again as a teenager in high school. She's exceptional, but for some reason when I made an appointment for an updated retainer, I didnt get a response from her office, or her. No one was in the office during office hours, no one picked up the phone. I even arrived half an hour before my appointment. No response, no notification, no show up. I dont understand what happened.

She was literally amazing and so helpful. I came in because part of my permanent retainer broke and she discussed all the options with me since my insurance doesn’t cover adult orthodontics. She’s such a lovely woman, would highly recommend!

The wait time was quick and I was seen within a reasonable time frame, however the communication was very unclear, the visit was for a consultation and the conversation was all of five minutes. I had already spoken To my insurance provider prior and knew exactly how much the insurance would cover and simply wanted to be walked through what every thing entailed. Instead I was taken to a side room where some X-rays were done. When I asked for clarification on the process and was asked for payment, when I had not even agreed to anything I was told “you said yes on the chair”. I was taken aback and her tone completely changed once I asked for clarification and told her I was there for a consultation, it was overall a very uncomfortable experience because I felt as if nothing was explained and once I was hesitant about giving her money she didn’t want to be bothered with me. I thanked her for her time and asked if there was any copay to take care of and left.
