I paid out of pocket for an initial consultation that was expensive, but I felt it was worthwhile at the time and believed we had a good rapport. During the visit, I clearly explained that I needed refills for medications I’ve been prescribed consistently for over 10 years. I was told it might take a few days to process. After several weeks with no prescription sent, I followed up and was told there were administrative delays related to her new office location and that it would be resolved within 10 days. Despite further follow-up and confirmation from my pharmacy that they had not been contacted, I received no response and was ultimately unable to reach her via phone or website. The lack of communication and follow-through, especially after an upfront payment via Zelle, was disappointing and added unnecessary stress during a time I was seeking mental health support.
