I had never been to therapy before going to see Karen, so I was anxious about the process. I called a bunch of therapists so I could at least hear their voices before going in for the first appointment. I was put off by most everyone because they didn't seem very interested in me. Karen was the only one who took the time to talk to me, and somehow, within the first couple of minutes on the phone, I felt like I found the right person. Now I have seen her a few times and I actually WANT to go to therapy now. It's been hard work and has brought up difficult emotions, but I know it's important for me to do this. I feel a bit more free, and I hope that feeling continues. I definitely trust that Karen will help guide me in the right direction.

Karen is a GREAT therapist! She's so kind & understanding. She's a very good listener, but she doesn't just sit there. She gets very involved in our discussions and I never feel like she is judging me (which I have definitely felt from people in my life). She has helped me come to terms with some serious traumatic experiences in my life, and I feel a lot more at peace about it all now that I'm working with her weekly. I can't really say enough good things about her. She's one in a million.

Karen is a very genuine person and a really insightful therapist. I had gone to a few different therapists in the past who really just listened to me, but I never really felt like I could be too open with them. I didn't think they actually cared. So when I first met Karen, I was hesitant. She easily made me feel comfortable though and I can tell that she really gets me . Sometimes I think she understands me more than I understand myself! I have been working with her for several months now, and I am grateful to have found her. Her support has been so valuable for me through a challenging time in my life.
