It's hard to find the right psychiatrist and almost impossible to find one who understands the additional challenges to navigating the world as a Black woman. Alysha 's ability to listen with objectivity and without judgement makes such a difference. There is so much stigma around mental health so finding someone who is patient and makes ou feel safe s paramount.
