Dr Akbar is very kind, she listened to me and my situation. She asked me questions to which I understood the questions and I answered them. Dr Akbar is the kind of doctor I want for myself my daughter and my granddaughter. She is very professional the way she treats her patients. I explained that I suffer with hives and she explained everything that she does in her line of work. I made another appointment to see her again. I’m so happy I finally found a doctor who understands me and can help me.

had a very disappointing experience.
I went to see this provider for a cerumen impaction (earwax blockage) in my left ear. I was fully aware she wasn’t an ENT specialist, but I expected she would have the basic tools and experience to handle what is typically a simple issue.
She attempted to clean my ear using some equipment, then recommended an over-the-counter remedy and assured me it should improve. Unfortunately, not only did my ear feel worse after the visit, but I also left feeling uneasy and concerned. Within hours, I knew it wasn’t going to get better and had to urgently schedule an appointment with a specialist.
This was a frustrating and stressful experience—especially since I’m getting married soon and have an important traditional family event this weekend. I trusted that, while not an ENT, she’d be able to offer meaningful relief, but that wasn’t the case at all.
I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone for this type of care.

Dr Akbars office was clean and I was seen right away. She really listened to my symptoms and ordered a bunch of tests right away. I feel like she will figure out the root cause of my discomfort. She was very knowledgeable and kind and called me back right away when I had a question.

They explained everything to me and had a warm bedside manner when confirming things. The doctor was on time and prepared. She entered with a smile and a gentle confidence that was refreshing. She asked questions and listened. I felt heard. Finally! The appointment was not rushed. Because she listened to my concerns she was able to deduce the root cause of an issue I mentioned. It was quickly evident that the doctor is smart, kind as well as thorough. So grateful I have found a talented and kind Primary Physician!!
